Salesforce culture and hiring freeze
Got an offer at salesforce and about to join 2 weeks. How is salesforce US culture. I was given the option to choose between data cloud, service cloud and AI cloud which one is good? How is WLB at salesforce seattle? Is there any stack ranking or PIP at salesforce and how common is it?#engineering Do we need to be worried about hiring freeze as my recruiter mentioned i got offer a month ago so no issues ? When did you interview? Heard AI cloud is their GenAI department
Around one and half months back I got a decision recently. Any idea on general AI org?
I heard that its the top priority within SF but its pretty chaotic. It is supposed to apply gen ai on all of SF products. How did your interviews go? Did you nail every round?

Culture really dipped in the last year. There is stack ranking and PIP being enforced now. I would go with go AI Cloud.

What was your initial offer and how did you negotiate?
I have competing offers from Amazon so it was easy to negotiate
WLB in AI cloud is terrible. Pay is the same as other clouds. Stay away from AI cloud.
which orgs are good?
WIB is decent but depends on the team within each cloud. Also, 260k TC seems kinda low for 5 YOE. Are you joining as SMTS?
Gor smts you can easily do 300k+
Not that’s your question, but when looking at comp, at MSFT you have refreshers kinda common unless you screwed up, while at SFDC they basically do not exist unless you are superstar or fully vested Both MSFT and SFDC have amazing WLB from what I have seen
