Anyone else have a bloated belly until a huge fart deflates the belly back to normal?
Recruiter reached out to me mentioning that the decision on my interviews is positive and they will get back with numbers tomorrow. I am in AI/ML field with an industry experience of 4+ years but outside US. Highest degree is MS. I am looking to stay a long term if things numbers are good. I want advice from you guys at Blind on the right numbers to target when I talk to the recruiter tomorrow. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t have any stocks benefits. How should I make sure I don’t feel lowballed today or next few years being with them? What would you suggest should I target for my BASE, SIGN ON BONUS and YEARLY BONUS PERCENTAGE for SRA? Any benefits and overall package understanding from current SRA employees will also be appreciated. Help me understand a few points that you thought are important when considering Samsung’s offer. I don’t have a current TC to quote right now. Let me know if I missed providing any detail that might help! #researchscientist #AIML
Above numbers if the experience is relevant.
they’re still doing anything interesting out of Mountain View? I thought the best techs and big decisions are still made in Korea. can’t help you with the tc offer though.
220K base. 20% bonus. 75K sign on. Start high.
150K base. 75K sign on bonus over 3 years. 20% bonus. Sounds realistic to me.
Consider no RSUs or refreshers. Big negative. 401K match Is decent. WLB team dependent.
Thanks a lot! I will keep these in mind in my talk tomorrow. Appreciate it.
