Hello all, As title says am trying to evaluate offer from this 3 for summer internship. I have couple year of work ex, doing internship as part of my Masters program. Samsung - 43$/hr + 2$k housing/mo ( San Diego ) Work looks to be promising on Infra tooling, on my area of interest. Container orchestration, workload scheduling etc Dolby - 46$/hr Remote if onsite 5k will be net net amount - San Jose. Work related to building in house cloud, from blind reviews am bit in dilemma Bodo - 53$/hr + 1.5k housing stipend + some extra allowance - Pittsburg. Work looks to be mostly around cloud AWS specially, which am not very keen about. I am inclined towards, Samsung but i guess San Diego will be expensive and not sure if this will be enough. Also Dolby’s manager sounded very nice, Samsung one sounded little more aggressive and stringent. Bodo is startup people seemed pretty cool with workforce from top 10 colleges. I am still looking for Internships, if anyone’s willing to give referral that will be very kind. Happy to share my profile. YOE: 4 #samsung #dolby
Out of all your options, Samsung seems most reputable and well known and good stepping stone. Samsung is legit in South Korea 🇰🇷, literally best company over there, it’s just not cool here.
Don't join Samsung. This is so complacent company..
Out of those 3, I’d take a close look at Bodo. Seems like they’re doing very interesting work.
Hi, did you make your decision?
Bodo seems dope
