Bay Area probably is good for healthy mind, body and social life. I’d stay there if I could continue. Seattle weather hurts your enthusiasm in general, all the outdoor stuff is useless most of the year, RE prices at this point are getting closer to Bay Area. I don’t see any advantage moving to Seattle, if it is Austin, Denver, Etc I see different trade offs.
In Bay area if you want to stay close to office and in good school district, you need to pay around 2 mil for a single family house. Seattle is way cheaper isn't it ? Weather is Bay area is awesome compared to Seattle
