Im not a developer(Automation QA) and do not have a lot of knowledge on real life developer experience(Implementing, use api, deploying, etc). I want to be a developer and want to join top tier tech companies and have some interview scheduled. Should I focus on leetcode or basic concept such as how to implement spring frame work and use it, dockerizing and so on?
Try to focus on baking cookies. Next big thing. Trust me. 🤣

how much do you not know? I assumed QAA required at least some extent of dev knowledge. you can leetcode till your eyes bleed but you won't walk away knowing how to interact with an API, spinning up a docker container, etc. are these interviews with recruiters? you might want to put even those on hold if you've done nothing before. interacting with an API, at the very least, is pretty core to the industry.
If you are able to perform good on leetcode , I don’t see why you can’t understand implementing, using api and other stuff. Keep going if that’s what you want in life 👍🏻
Leetcode and be upfront on why you are changing job. They will down level you but you will learn soon.
Leetcode cant make u a software developer, unless u r a CS major and know ur basics-data structures, algos, api design etc Dont target top tier already, switch in current company first.
If you can solve leetcode questions on your own (come up with the logic, not just understand it), then you definitely have the technical ability. Learning tools and frameworks doesn't make you a software engineer, but having problem solving skills/ability can.
So without any development experience, If I pass all the interviews. I should be fine?

Try to transition in your current company. You don’t want to join and not be able to perform in job.
Not true. You can learn once you're in and it'll help with your tc in the long term. Choose an unsexy team in a sexy company and try moving around once you're in.
