Employees should require it, not the employers.
Are you aware that most of us are the last in the vaccine distribution line? Why people who want to go back should not be allowed to do so?
Everyone has a right to be safe at work space. Why someone who wants to come back has to be jeopardized by your possible infection? It’s not his fault that there is a queue for the vaccination.
Obviously not. At Microsoft, even now you are allowed (but not recommended) to come to the office if you have some sort of hardship working at home. This makes perfect sense to me. Moreover, current vaccines do NOT prevent you from being the virus carrier. So you may come to the office, get the virus and still spread it to your household members who were not yet vaccinated.
There is zero data yet to measure how infectious vaccinated people are.
When covid death rates go bellows traffic+workplace accident+violence deaths, it doesn't matter anymore.
It’s 9/11 every day right now, so we have a long way to go.
People with less resistance definitely need vaccine. One of my relative who died because of covid. He has taken all necessary actions but bad luck nothing saved him.
Good luck explaining that to the 3000 people who died yesterday .. and the day before ...
If workplaces can mandate masks in the office, then they can require proof of vaccination
Remote until the case count/deaths are under control instead of getting into these dumb policies.
Are they going to require strap on a condom before banging? Having a kid has a more direct impact on the health premiums the company pays than covid. Asking for a friend.
"Strap on" a condom...? I think you might be confusing a few different things....
Like.. bags of sand!
Masks should be required to go places, because me wearing one makes others safer and it’s not about making me safe but rather others. Vaccines do make others safe and the point of them is large groups especially with <95% effectiveness, but the main point of them is to make the individual who takes them safe. Vaccines should definitely not be required. I mean a private company can do whatever it wants on its private land, but I don’t think it should require that.
Masks don’t really work, people take them off to sneeze and cough, its just gross to sneeze into a mask and keep wearing.
There are people who wear N95 100% of time when they are out, regardless. You know, so we wouldn’t end up at the hospital. You know what else is gross?... hospitals and hospitalization.
Huh did FB announce that?
Saw it on the news
Zuck mentioned it in the QnA
