I’d just like to give a shout-out to all the people who *don’t* cheat on their spouses/partners. And to those who demonstrate the integrity and emotional intelligence to end things before getting physically involved with someone new. Thanks for being responsible and respecting everyone involved (including yourself)!

This trope implies that the sound from the tree is never heard. But, as so many current events indicate, the sound may end up appearing later.
Some sound does ... most trees fall very quietly.
I've never cheated, but can hardly count myself as virtuous, because the opportunity to cheat has never arisen. Good thing my wife loves me!

You just defined what cheating is for all of the population. Which might not even be accurate. But anyway.
I have never cheated ... and expect the same from my partner ... but in today’s world it’s too much to ask for ....
Why is it too much to ask? If you’re finished with your current squeeze, end the relationship, make it clear. Then go for it. No need for deception.
Because most cheat ... so where will i find someone who doesn’t cheat like me ...
