Hi all! I have this idea and would love some constructive feedback especially for those who this would be applicable to! The Premise: Many tech employees get prepaid cards that have a certain limit deposited daily/weekly to be used on meals. These cards have restrictions and can only be used on meals and during a certain window of time (ie use it or lose it). The issue is many employees work so much that they end of not using their credits and let them expire. The Idea: Offer a simple solution that allows employees to purchase gift cards using their credits. Rather than lose their credits they can exchange for gift cards for a small nominal fee. The benefit would be 1) They actually get to use their credits and 2) No pressure to use their credits in a restricted manner. The obvious question is why wouldn't they go straight to say an Amazon and get a gift card with no fee - they definitely should try but most likely companies have blacklisted these merchants to discourage employees from doing so. What are your thoughts? Is this something you would use? Is this an issue you currently deal with (ie wasted meal credits)? Any and all feedback would be appreciated!

How to relocate out of Blue areas?
Most companies explicitly: 1. state that you cannot use credits for gift cards 2. require receipts for every transaction (the receipt will show the gift card purchase) Good idea, but I don’t think it’ll work
