In the last three months, I have got much information related with job seeking advice, offers, etc. Now I have one Snap L5 offer and Uber 5B offer. YOE: ~10, L5@Google with total comp ~380k ( with stock appreciation) Snap L5 offer: ~580K (~210k base) average per year with 3 years. Uber 5B offer: ~560K (~240k base) average per year with 4 years ( 1st year 660K due to front load). Similar to other similar threads I've found, I have some considerations: 1. Which company do you think has better long term stock upside in 3-4 years period? Since equity about half of the package, considering the recent stock ups and downs, the package can shrink significantly if they drop more. If I look online for some stock rating, like this website: [uber stock analysis](https://preprod5.tipranks.com/stocks/uber/forecast) [snap stock analysis](https://preprod5.tipranks.com/stocks/snap/forecast) Seems uber has more upside trends consistently. But I am not sure how reliable these websites are. In post covid, will uber be in a better position while snap be worse? 2. Refresh. Snap has no stacked refresh, uber have yearly refresh so it's possible that there is no decrease in Uber's salary if considering refresh, so uber package is much higher. 3. Culture, WLB, benefits. Seems snap has better score (like the review in Blind) Which one should I choose in your opinion? Thank you! #uber #snap #offers
380k for 10yoe at Google is just horrible. Never thought Google low balls this much.
FYI the expectation and scope of Uber 5B is like an L6 at google.
Google is a joke!
OP could you share your offer breakdown and location?
OP, which one did you join? How do you feel now?
Could you share how much stocks did Uber give?
You could get E6 at Meta.
Why meta over snap?
Reputation, freedom to work on any project, more autonomy over project etc. snap is very top down.
