Ask those who’ve been at Snap through 2017-19 bumpy ride. This is nothing compared to those times My personal recommendation - do not join companies if you don’t support their mission. Not really sure why so many Googers are eager to join Snap
Snap pay very well. I guess that's what people care about. Also many people prefer Los Angeles over bay area.
That's not to undermine your point just the pros for snap. But honestly what's snaps mission? Waste people's valuable time and shove ads?

You work for Charles Schwab and you still ask differences in fundamentals between Snap and old Amazon?
Snap will be fine
Good time to join if you can get your RSUs to be valued at the low price. Equivalent to buying the dip
Well Snap offer’s base is equal to my TC now so I will be fine even if the stock price drop to 0 I guess. I might try a Google interview and if I am lucky to get an offer. I will use it as a safe net in case of the layoff
Good strategy
People have been hesitant to join Snap because it has been all time high for a while, this is a good time to join. Snap will bounce back very soon.
Someone told me months ago that junior people at snap are not motivated to get promoted cause their tc is already >800k
