Is there something fundamentally wrong in our society ? Men complain about not being able to find good women and women complain the other way round. Is it about setting expectations incorrectly ? Is this a drawback of diversity of thoughts?
Many people are isolated. It’s often literally hard to meet people outside of your bubbles. Apps only go so far.
Take a look at the ok Cupid blog posts. Women's standards of attractiveness are becoming increasingly strict.
Boy if women have attractiveness standards and men like to be lousy cool dudes then we are in a big problem.
I disagree. Look at Paige Butcher and Eddie Murphy. I think you mean to say women's standards of attractiveness or net worth are becoming increasingly strict.
Fundamentally wrong? Yes, people complain too much
With apps we have too many options. Everyone is scared to settle when something better could just be a swipe away.
This is so true
Maybe for women. Some men don't even get 1 match.
Some of these folks are immature and unrealistic, and are making excuses for not being ready to settle down. Others are complaining because it’s something that everyone complains about, and they think it’s good for bonding.
It would be interesting to do a case by case analysis of all the relationships that did not work out. Would probably help to surface and realize the immature/unrealistic behavior so it can be changed. What’s the point of keeping on trying without any retrospective ?
Just focus on living a robust happy life as a single person, and someone nice will show up when the time is right. 🤗
The gender ratio is fucked in the Bay area. Well .. I’m sure it’s the historical best so far ..
All the girls moved to la/sd or the east coast I guess?
I feel like it was easy in the olden days. Gender based roles - girls had to look good and produce children and guys had to earn bread. Unfair but simple. Now it’s like everyone wants everything.
You know what, you deserve to be single forever✌
I like my wife earning money. Wtf is she gonna do home all day when the kids are older? Kids eventually go on auto pilot for most of the day.
Biased sample. Find people who don't spend 90% of their day on a screen.
Haha true
You're all screwed...and not in the good way.
