Splunk offer
I got an below offer for P3 SWE, it is lower than average at levels.fyi. Should I try to negotiate it? I have 2.5 yeo and hold masters. Locations are SJ/SF/Boulder. No sign on bonus. Base:144K RSU:100K/4Y Bonus:10% #splunk #splunksalary #compensation #salary

Always tough to negotiate w/o counter offer. That comp wouldn’t be bad in boulder, but from what I heard Splunk can pay competitively. I think it comes down to what leverage you have and what you’re willing to risk
If I get another similar offer would that be useful? Above offer is initial offer without any negotiations.
Boulder you can push for 150 base, SF and SJ you can push gor higher base too. And yes stay firm and without a counter offer it will be hard tp negotiate

What’s P3? Principal? rsus seems really low for Principal.
