I like the company but not sure how they can get away with being unprofitable company forever.. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/06/05/spotify-layoffs-200-employees-or-about-2percent-of-its-workforce-cut.html
Their UX is so horrible
Getting rid of the heart button is their biggest downfall
WTH recruiter reached out to me 2 weeks ago for an interview and now another layoff ?
Folks at Spotify, how is moral like? Those who affected are all noticed? I'm joining very soon, and this layoff got me to think twice 🤔
It’s not great here. Toxic.
I thought everyone praised their amazing WLB despite the lower pay?
From what I heard from friends the good WLB is long gone, specially in US.
Thank you for bringing this to us, OP. Does anyone from Spotify know which orgs/teams were affected and how much the severance is? The CEO letter is very condescending, though. You can’t list off the number of accolades your company has received and then say that you’re casually dismissing 2% of your workforce. Very much tone-deaf and feels more about them bragging about their success without paying appreciation to those who actually helped them build their company. TC: 90K
The same week as the last round the CEO was posting pics of his customized lambo, he's a total tool
