I've been at HPE for a couple years and comp is really a joke. I work with a ton of local partners who I work just as hard as, but they get paid. Look a level above the sellers to the owners of the VAR and they are really doing well.
From an OEM pov, Partner life is tough. No one knows who you are and getting new logos is very challenging. That being said, it can be very lucrative.
I've got a core group I could start a VAR with but I just haven't made the leap.
Any feedback or thoughts on starting a VAR?
What to start and focus on with limited capital and manpower?
Business plan resources?
What OEM's to carry? Obv Hpe because I know it.
