Struggling with COVID and dealing with a micromanager

* No longer at Cisco, this is a FAANG+ company (not Amazon) I recently moved a new team within the same company and now have a micromanager. He wants me to document every hour of every hour of every day. I’ve never been in this situation (especially since we are all remote) and am afraid im going to get fired if Im not at my desk documenting what I do every day from 8-5. This was a really bad move on my part. This guy has absolutely no chill and I need some slack: I’ve really been struggling mentally during COVID and know thay this is not the environment for me for many reasons (heavy office culture, no potential for raise or promotion). I’ve decided that i need to leave and plan to start looking in a few months, but I’m afraid that I’m gokng to be PIP’d/ fired before then. I really can’t afford unemployment. Any tips as to how to address this before it blows up in my face? TC: 🥜

Not Amazon and not Apple, so it’s definitely Albertsons

Why not just say where you work?
