YOE:- 2 yrs 8 mnths Tier 1 IIT cllg Current TC:- 14 LPA @ Accenture Swiggy:- (Remote working) Role:- SDE 2 - Backend - R&G division Fixed:- 36 Joining Bonus:- 2.5 Retention Bonus:- 3 Stock Options (ESOPs):- 4 lakhs per year Total Comp(1st yr):- 42.5 LPA Goldman Sachs:- (Work from Office) Role:- Associate - Risk Division Fixed:- 30 Variable:- 6 (Prorated, so around 3 this year) Total Comp (1st yr):- 33 LPA No scope of increase from both companies due to less time for the joining date from Swiggy. Also, Swiggy's joining can be done immediately but Goldman Sachs will take 4 weeks post I accept the offer for joining.
Curious, why did u join Accenture from tier 1 IIT colg?
My guess is most likely, bad CGPA and they had no interest in tech at that point. Am I right, OP?
2 reasons:- 1. Joined at a higher level at Accenture than other tier freshers. 2. didn't have a circuit branch to get opportunities from all the companies at On-Campus.
GS is strict RTO, WFO. They will say things differently, Butt they force for work from office
Is WFH better or WFO? At this stage in career, isn't WFO better for learning perspective. Although other companies have optional WFO, it makes no sense to go to office as other people won't come. GS would make sure that other people come as compulsion, which makes going office a ++.
I don't think it's better. Strict WFO is bad, no flexibility. They shud do hybrid. Good talented ppl leaving Coz of strict bad policies, who will u interact to???the left over ones? It shows the mentality of the company. They will do this in everything gng forward. Hybrid is the way forward. They don't care for employees anymore. I realise this and left. I was top performer. Was offered all sorts of options after I put down paper,includong relocation. I rejected all.
GS is a dead end. Stay away
Why? I hear that brand value of GS in Resume is too much for future work. Only problem is their low Compensation in the offer.

GS risk division, ain't that good. The tech stacks are either old or internal. Would suggest you to check the tech stacks as well of your specific team.
Tech stack used in the team, as told to me by HM, is the proprietary language and internal tools.
Please go for swiggy.. Ingesting and uploading excel sheets is something you don't wanna do
