Hello Blind team, I am a mechanical engineer, with 6 yrs of experience. I am thinking of starting to learn python coding with an aim to switch my career into coding, maybe into a data analyst or data science path. What is a good start to learning python coding from the beginning? I started learning from youtube videos in the last few weeks. Is anyone here in a similar boat? On the path to learning python coding, please share the strategy, material, courses, youtube channel, or anything that helped you learn. Thanks in advance TC 85k.
Google has an online 6 month training course for data analytics now. IBM does as well. I believe Google's focuses on R, and IBMs is mostly Python.
Thank you for your response. Do you know from where can I access IBM courses?
I literally made the exact transition. Try to make a flask/django app that can be used internally. My first internal app was a UI that allowed people to pull data from our database. Making a python web app will get you learning all the basics and will benefit your current team in the process

There are tons of resources on YouTube. However, it can be overwhelming at times especially when you don't have a well tailored approach or curriculum to follow. Your aim is achievable on a self-paced learning tho, you are surely gonna need a mentor. It can get boring so mentor will come handy in here. Good luck
Thanks for such motivating input. Appreciate it.
