How is tableau org to work as an sde? How is the tech stack? Is it a good place to learn and develop? How is tableau after Salesforce acquisition? Currently at Amazon, good learning curve so far, have an interview with Tableau, need suggestions on long term career opportunities. Planning to jump ship to maximize TC. Work as SDE : Highly depends on the team Tech Stack: C++, React for front end, Java for server spring basically and bunch of modules and scripts in python. Will depend on the team what you work with Learn and develop: Depends on if you are in some new team trying out a project or legacy team mostly maintaining stuff. But just to learn and grow Amazon / meta might be better. After acquisition: Its not bad for new hires but senior engineers off the cliff are quitting so if your team is bunch of new engineers might be hard trying to find a mentor.
