I was contacted by a recruiter from Xilinx for a SWE position (I do not work in SW). I agreed to an interview conditional to the fact it was not my domain but I can work with C/C++/python on an intermediate level. I was told this was more aligned towards embedded software and I agreed due to my work experience. The hiring manager turned out to be someone who seemed like a new manager and asked questions like: how do I know if I give you an offer, you will stick with us and not take a better offer? Also, was badgered with high school math questions (I don’t even remember high school math) and was told i was expected to perform better. I didn’t reply to that and decided to conclude the interview. How do you deal with such interview calls? #xilinx
