Who knows what kind of manager you will get. The person in this post is mad because someone joined their team and took paternity leave. They don’t like the lost head count during busy period. What if an existing employee decided to take paternity instead of new hire ? Results will be the same (may be even worse because you loose experienced person). This person also goes on to say if they finds out their employees are dyslexic, they will fire them. "Candidate hid that she’s pregnant!! (Office Life)" https://www.teamblind.com/us/s/4uUZY583
Salesforce im going to join your team at a crucial time and then take 6 months paid vacation right after joining okay?
Cap one the next time you have sex, file a ticket and send it for cvp approval. Is that fine?
Weak insult lmfao Go hire a lot of people who yoyre paying to not work and let me know how your project is going.
Cost of doing business.
Small company is not required to cover FMLA payments to people on leave, so your argument is blown away.
Hiding a pregnancy is trash behavior I’d fire them immediately as I could afterwards
And then you’d be liable for a lawsuit
I get the OP point of view, but I could give less fucks about any company. The employee needs a salary to live, and prioritizing her chances of getting a job and taking care of her family are things you can't fault her for. Let's be honest here, how many of you guys actually care for your coworkers? Most prolly hope your coworker carries their weight and doesn't impact your work & personal life.
I have seen this - someone joined a team after months of interviewing and while they are on their notice, they find out they are pregnant. The manager wasn't very gracious about it. The reality is that these things happen, people get sick, get pregnant, or even lose motivation. Just learn to deal with it
Why is this a post and not a comment?
So OP saw how successful the post was and wanted to milk those sweet blind points
I like how people on blind openly admit to committing crimes
The crime is this women’s wage theft
It’s not wage theft. It’s a provided benefit
