Recently I have noticed that Google has been putting extremely misleading UI elements in product/ pop ups. These are same as doing a scam in real life or misleading people.
I'd also like to see examples.
YouTube constantly pops up action items pushing subscription services in the Android app, they always partially cover the UI and interfere with the UX.
These are so obnoxious. Even if you're a subscriber, main YT app will pop up "did you know there's a separate YT Music app?" when you happen to listen to music. Even though YT very well oughta know that I use the Music app too, just not right now.
YT music: Subscribe Now v/s No thanks. Why is no thanks not a button fro starters. YT Premium: Try one month for free v/s Skip for now. So when I press Skip for now, AmI saying “No” or Skip trial and sign me up for premium? Purposefully they are making things confusing.
YouTube self-ads are the worst.

Should I move to Amazon?
I probably agree with you (am iphone user and rage-banned some notifications from YT and other G apps after what I considered spam). But... got any specific examples?

Skip trial: doesn't that mean No I don't want to become premium member or No, I don't want to go for trial, just give me premium subscription?
