He trying to take all the work now even though he’s already overbooked and the stuff he completes is wrong. He then goes back to manager and says he does more work than me and demands to get paid more. Then manager threatens I get demoted and lose pay if I don’t pick up slack. Wtf?
You dug your own grave.
Look for a job. Tell manager to fuck the fuck off. Tell coworker to go screw himself.
Absolutely, I just don’t understand this kinda culture that ppl eating each other alive instead of helping each other. Managers or not you’re all just employees.
Delegate more work to your coworker and complain to skip that your manager doesn't do anything and you do all his work
Hopefully this cycle cascades one level up each time to a point where CEO gets thrown out and you along with your manager, skip, et. al. get promoted while your coworker remains where he is And you can all be one happy toxic chain of employees once again
Why not explain exactly this to your manager and have a 3-way convo with the other 2?
Your coworker needs to learn to advocate for pay based on his intrinsic value to the company and not based on comparison to another coworker.
What state are you in? In a lot of states retaliation for disclosing salary is illegal
How do you know he told your manager he does more work than you?
