Hi - Indian passport holder - looking to book a flight from USA to India and back to USA via Munich. Does anyone know if I would need any sort of visa to transit through this airport? Have transited multiple times through Frankfurt and did not require any paperwork or transit visa to change planes at Frankfurt. Is it the same in Munich? I did do a web search and got conflicting answers, so wanted to check from someone with experience of transiting through Munich. Thanks for your help! Cheers!
Ask your airline man.
If you need a visa by any chance, you will be prompted while booking the tickets.
Nope. Airlines never ask for visa at the booking. Only at the boarding.
Try booking a flight that has a layover in Canada. You will be prompted with Visa requirements.
Be prepared to be hassled
