Twitter: Trash Engineering culture
I just listened to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Twitter...I am appalled by Twitter. They don't even have a centralized logging system. They have no staging test environment. They don't have proper permissions credential delegation so any engineer can just randomly access user data. They allow Chinese CCP ads even though China has banned Twitter. This allows China to gather user impression data. WTF?? What a bunch of BS.
What if they used tweets for logging?
Every tweet generates a log tweet, which is a tweet that begets a log tweet☯️

Can speak about redbird( infra and platform) 1. There is centralized logging 2. There are test, staging and canaries 3. No, you cannot access user data. Except for the data stored in the infra storages and its clean up was part of FTC agreement
If they spent time coding instead of twerking for Elon, maybe Twitter would be better.
