Nick tweeted last week that his wife's funeral was to be held last weekend (RIP, she was only 39.) He has very recently updated his Twitter bio to reflect that he is no longer at Twitter, per Bloomberg article below. After the firing of Kayvon Beykpour and Bruce Falck by Pan Pagar Pagarwal in May, Nick was promoted to GM and became one of the top engineering/product execs at Twitter. Nick previously held managerial roles at Microsoft, Reddit, and Google. The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
I don’t know, but that sounds awful and also very like him (ex-Tesla) He’s ruthless, has no regard for human beings and it’s scary that he’s the richest man alive and is in such a huge position of power.
Well if you can build similar or better company by being better human being than him. You're welcome to try.
it would be pretty easy to build a company more sustainable and profitable than any of Elon's companies.
Sure Elon would have known he is attending the funeral and made the call himself! Keep up these great “news” headlines..
He was one of Twitter's top execs, it's not a stretch.
Literally one of Elon’s direct reports, only Elon himself CAN make that call.
These execs are getting paid millions. Sad that his wife died, but being fired should have zero immediate impact on his life. Would be a better sob story if it was a cafeteria worker.
What if it impacts him emotionally?
True Execs and Managers fire employees mercilessly. And no one gives af.
Nick picked for PIP
Elon is Thanos. Firing execs one snap at a time 🫰
CEO this shitty going to get so many whistles blown
If you and I are talking about a person who got fired on blind then that person got millions... So I think he will be fine... Good that he is able to feel sorry all in one shot
Elon ain't paying out severance to Pan Pagar Pagarwal or V Gadha, why would he pay Nick?
Did the guy a favor with his millions of severance and payout of stock. He ain’t crying over it, why should you
Elon ain't paying out severance to Pan Pagar Pagarwal or V Gadha, why would he pay Nick?
They purposely hid evidence of fraud / metric hiding (per what we know). So that’s “cause” that was given on day 1. If he didn’t do anything that mislead investors, complied with any court orders, and was honest during his tenure at Twitter he will be fine.
Y'all are assholes for real
Well maybe Nick’s performance is bad.
Lol you are a stone cold person. I hope you never have direct reports
I mean elon has fired people on maternity leave before and people on sick leave including his direct secretary. I definitely think he is wrong and too harsh.
