https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/23/twitter-whistleblower-alleges-execs-misled-board-and-public-on-spam-security.html From the opening key points of the article: 'A Twitter whistleblower is alleging “extreme, egregious deficiencies by Twitter” related to privacy, security and content moderation. The complaints were filed by nonprofit law firm Whistleblower Aid, which is representing Twitter’s former head of security, Peiter “Mudge” Zatko.' TC 242K
I'm sure there's probably something to this, but everything mentioned seems pretty normal for b2c companies. Especially b2c companies of marginal profitability.
Love Elon shake up the whole company and exposing them for fraud
Quite the coincidence this comes out right when Musk is looking for a way out. Seems fishy. But also, the claims in this whistleblower complaint is so unspecific. Every fucking tech company prioritizes growth over security. Look at meta.
Yeah..Looks like Musk has started impregnating twitter employees
Would it be illegal for dude to accept payment from musk to go public? I’m assuming his complaints are valid. I can only guess that would be prohibited by his employment/separation contracts. Reality is, unless this is really egregious flaws, ppl will think twice about hiring this guy. Who wants to work with someone who couldn’t get this fixed internally, and then resorted to blowing things up publicly?
