Hey Everyone, I am interviewing for the Global Program Manager for Uber, does anyone have any advice or suggestions? pros and cons of Uber?
Different teams have different expectations as Uber doesn’t have a cross-org central PMO. Assuming this is for CommOps, cons are the overall Uber cons right now. Demoralized team, rough road ahead with COVID, and a lot of people really on edge. Non-tech pay kind of sucks, too. Pros are that PGM roles are generally high visibility and high impact. CommOps is also a great group, lots of people who have been with Uber for a while, and lots of chances to understand the customer perspective and experience.
