I had an onsite interview at Uber on the 9th (Last Friday). Recruiter told me that there would be a 48-72 hour turn around and I would get results/feedback within that time regardless if it's hire or no hire. It is Friday now, 1 week has passed. I just signed into the Ubers careers page to check the status of my application and it's been "in review" status since the 12th. Anyone know what or when to expect anything? #engineering #software #swe #uber #onsite #interview
Note: I also noticed that they have 2 job postings that for my position, it's just that one job posting is 1 level above the one I interviewed for, and the other is 2 levels down.
Go look up Uber hacked in teamblind
The interviewers would have definitely entered thier feedback into the system before yesterday. I don't think recruiters can do anything with regards to the incident either so they shouldn't be preoccupied by it.
Took me 2.5 weeks to get an offer after final on site. As long as recruiter is responsive, you have a good shot.
It took 2.5 for an offer, but how long did your recruiter take to let you know if you passed or not ??
Same thing. Found out I passed 2.5 weeks after on-site. Recruiter was responsive throughout process
OP how was the interview? Any tips
Did you try to email your recruiter? What did they say? Was it for SWE?
I emailed the recruiter twice. No replies.
Any update/feedback yet? I am waiting too to hear back from them.
Idk man, I've emailed yesterday and today as reply with a bit of transparency can go a long way instead of making the candidate feel ghosted.
