Uber vs Confluent India
Got offers from Uber and Confluent India for data analytics profile. Since Uber is B2C and Confluent is B2B I believe the problems will be different. PLEASE PROVIDE REASON BELOW!! For data analyst I would say Uber would be better option. As b2c analytics especially at Uber scale would be very interesting to work upon and would have high impact.
True. But I am confused as I am joining a team who work on internal product analytics. Do you think that would be interesting too?
I am not sure how much interesting that would be. I can answer only from Uber point of view. FYI, Uber operates in 70 countries and makes 21 million trips per day and has 112 million monthly active users. This technically means too much data and you would have impact on 100+ million users. I can say with confident that you cant get that level of customer impact & scale at confluent as confluent is b2b facing SaaS provider with only few thousand customers.
