Ultimate RTO hack (Amazon)
I used to work at Amazon, but I've since left. But I feel terrible for you guys who are now stuck RTO-ing and still eating bananas. Here's a hack: 1 Live right next to Amazon HQ. 2 Every morning, check your emails at home. 3 Take a walk, maybe stop at Pike Place Market. 4 Stroll to campus, swipe in, and then turn around and go back home to WFH. All the RTO stuff just amounts to a number on a spreadsheet. They don't really care. If you've got other hacks for other companies share below!
Point #1 already removes the pain of RTO, so the rest is pointless. For the vast majority of people who don’t already have condition #1, that’s where the commute pain actually comes in. There are also those who would have to actually move in order to be within commute distance.

Ultimate hack is an overstatement, especially since it all hinges on proximity to office. Fuck off.
So you make all the effort to commute to the office just to try to abuse the process in the dumbest way possible and end up fired. Congrats!
They changed it such that they check badge outs too (used to not be the case pre pandemic)
