I interviewed with a System Engineering Program Manager at Apple and this guy was the worst moron I have ever come across in an interview 1/ came 10 minutes late 2/ was buying food during our interview 3/ pretended like I didn't have any contributions in my career when telling him my stories. What a loser. Like your supposed to sell working at Apple. What a sloppy mess of a person.
Some what similar experience. For a 30mins interview came 10mins late rather than a conversation it was a rapid fire quiz. I don’t think their interview process is current seems like a decade+ old methodologies
Wow. Let the recruiter know. This is not how things are done here.
Will do! I am waiting for the hiring decision
Lol. Depends on the team. But yes just joined a month ago so had similar funny interviews 😅. There is no process but I liked the folks who interviewed me so I accepted the offer
Hey..did you join as EPM?
Yes
You should definitely report this. I have taken around 100 interviews for Apple and never have i ever made the candidate feel like this. That guy is a moron
Yup! For sure, just waiting for the hiring decision
As weird as it sounds, it’s not uncommon Apple treated candidates unprofessionally. The culture has it that any candidates are begging to be part of the Apple fam, and it’s simply a bless just to be interviewed. Lol
That’s hilarious. I never even applied. They contacted me and I just shot through the interviews aiming for some HFTs like Hudson River Trading and Jane Street but I said fuck it, and moved to Texas lmao. But I’m definitely in the minority. Personally, the only apple product I use is a Mac and iPhone. I never was an apple fanboy either
Yeah, I knew some ppl get nice interview experiences like you did. It’s nice when it goes that way!
What’s an EPM? Electronic Program Manager?
Are you really working at Apple?
Bruh I joined a few months ago, chill out

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
Relay this to your recruiter. If it’s true, this is highly unprofessional.
I will, after I get the hiring decision 😂
