Hi, I might be getting an offer from Costco, how's the work culture, WLB at Costco? TC 0 New TC might be 230ish
Albertsons is going to make them change it to FAAANG
Albertsons is leagues ahead of faang. It deserves an acronym of its own
The third A bro.
There is a lot of walking around in the store. Are you ok with it?
Lol
Costco has a reputation for treating their employees well.
What is the role? Data engineer?
Security Engineer
YOE? Location? I didn’t know they paid that well
My wife likes the free samples at costco.
Who doesn’t?
Costco is famous for treating their retail employees exceptionally well (for retail). I imagine that also translates to the corporate/dev side
Depends on what you consider being treated well. Except for pay, we get the same holidays, benefits, and retail minded Senior Management as Retail side. 24x7 Coverage in the office over the Thanksgiving week. They give 0 shits about you or your opinions. No vacation from mid November to mid December.
I heard even for the people walking around in store they get good pay.
I read that you can’t take vacations end of year due to holidays. It sure if true.
Sometimes I give out up to 300+ free chocolate chip cookie samples a day. It’s exhausting
It’s OK but nothing like Albertson’s.
