Walmart Labs to Jet.com

I got a verbal offer for Walmart Labs for a new grad role. Still waiting for numbers. But wanted to know if I can request to be considered for Jet at this point due to personal reasons. Is this even possible? Would there be an interview loop again. Okay with that. But is it reasonable to ask for this at this point? TC :- 160k offer from a startup in Seattle.

Doesn’t Jet.com have its primary coding language as F# ? it’ll take you so far away from the OO world. I was skeptical about that and hence didn’t interview with Jet. But it’s just my opinion .. life will get difficult when you need an exit out of there

Not really. Tons of companies use functional languages (Scala and Clojure in particular)

What team are you joining? Certain teams are proprietarily walmart or jet, so depending on that you can ask for a transfer. Also, I’m obviously biased but working in the Jet office is super sweet.

I interviewed for jet and after I cleared phone screen , due to relocation they themselves asked if I prefer Walmart labs or jet. So you should definitely ask
