I was approached by a recruiter for an operations manager II role at Walmart, San Bruno. Does anyone have experience in these roles or an idea of compensation? TC 150k YOE 6
Manager II for 6 years experience is really a good offer.. compensation varies for role. This will be x6 and you may make around lower end 180 base 25% bonus and 100k stock..
How can I check if it's x4 or x6
It’s X4. Base 135~140, RSU 15K and Bonus 20%. RSU and Bonus are non negotiable. Base shared is high end of the band.
Assuming X4 (manager II). 120-140 base + 20% bonus + $30-50K in equity per year (25% vest per year). Source: dude at a bar
This is accurate
Equity is not accurate
Is this a non tech warehouse role?
It's a non tech role, don't think it's a warehouse role.
Not impressed by the comp but it would need to be hefty base. I worked for Walmart for three years out of the Hoboken NJ office and went to San Bruno 4x and my team was half based there. I would not recommend working for Walmart in ops or supply chain. Work culture and leadership are toxic and ops are non progressive. After I left they laid off nearly all the employees in SB and Hoboken and the ones who didn’t and stayed on, majority of them are looking for an out right now. If you want to feel like your hands are tied as a leader work for Walmart. Sorry to say this.
Wow that's scary to hear. Where would you recommend looking for new roles in supply chain? Are CPG companies like Nestle, coke, Unilever a good option?
Agreed with above. I count my lucky stars I no longer work there.
Used to work in this group. I would say run for the hills. Absolutely horrible work culture. Hated my time there.
Agreed!
Agreed! Although someone coming from Amazon might be best suited for the role.
Thanks!
Who does this role support OP? Is it Walmart Connect?
It says last mile strategy
150K is high for manager II and YOE6 at Walmart. Usually 125k
TC 150K is a brutal honesty. Thumbs up
Only on Blind is admitting you “only” make double the median FAMILY income by yourself “brutal honesty.” 🙄
I make $180k with more YoE and was happy with my comp and thought I was rich before finding Blind (Texas).
