Thank you AAPL and NVDA
I don’t have hand on experience with distributed systems or micro services. Want to learn about them and build a scalable project. Are there any tutorials where I can learn and also build a scalable production system on my own. PS: I’m no longer with Amazon, so don’t have access to any internal material. Looking for external resources. Thanks in advance. TC: 175K
You need to utilize the synergy of the cloud.

How's the book "Building Microservices"?
Haven’t heard of this, will try.
https://martinfowler.com, Also read his book. It will give you very good idea about microservices.
Thanks, will take a look
Really? That guy is still relevant? In my mind distributed systems is what came after ‘enterprise’, broke all its rules and wiped the floor with it.
Start building a mini project yourself. That’s a good way to be better at it.
Ya, wanna do that. But can’t find any resources to come up with an idea. Like what kind of system should I build
Well yesterday I started an idea around creating a site that allows ppl to host playlists. A long time ago I wanted to build a site allows coworkers to vote where we should have lunch. Well, someone else did it at work, but it was a fun project. Ideas usually work if you are the first user.
Why is it called "service" and why is it "micro"? I find the naming uncomfortable
Do you have access to internal design docs? Amazon probably does things pretty well and would be good to learn from that
I’m no longer with Amazon. Preparing for interviews and want to learn this.
We don't have microservices lol
