Any tips on PM case interview round at Wayfair? #productmanagement #wayfair
Ignore! They interview you and would tell you that they can pay you one level down but you would have to work one level up.
When is your case Interview ?
Avoid Wayfair

It’s pretty straightforward. Set a vision - Wayfair is very customer centric, so make sure you bring all of your points back to the customer. Ask questions about who’s driving the initiative, and what their motivation is. Ask as many questions as you can to get to the root cause of the problem - this is key, they care more about your thought process than the solution. The math part is just basic calculations, nothing special. Is this position for supply chain or e-commerce?
Wayfair doesn’t care about the thought process. They have a scripted answer and they expect you to know an insider who can share those details. It was a pathetic experience with one of my friends.
Ah, this is from first hand experience and feedback I received from the recruiter. I did two case studies and got great feedback on those interviews. I didn’t get the job, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Why avoid? Is it because of wlb
Generally, yeah. It has a 3.1 vs. Amazon’s 3.2 here. They reached out a few times, and it’s been BezosLaugh.gif every time. Out of the frying pan and into the less respected fire. Same with Chewy.
Unless you wanna be project manager don't join
Plus you have to deal with all of the trafficking
Senior PM, Illuminati Occult Payments
Had a shitty experience with a mid-level PM interview here. Said I was "not excited enough" about the role 😂
