I’ve never seen anything like this. She joined my team 2 weeks ago as a Software Engineer. We were all beating around the bush when it came to asking her how old she was. She mentioned that her granddaughter was entering high school, and that she started programming after she retired. She got really into Java and Python, and now she’s working as a backend engineer for our team. She’s actually kind of good. She did her ceremonial first-bug really fast. Just sharing some interesting news!
