I work on the manufacturing and operations side of hardware. Mainly focused on manufacturing electronics. Are there any companies out there that will match or come close to my current TC without requiring 60hr/wk? I have a young family and really don’t want to be the another story of a parent who missed their kids childhood. Currently living in the Bay Area. Any suggestion would be appreciated! TC: $400k Yoe: 12yr
Goertek. TC maybe a little less but great WLB.
lol Goertek is part of the reason my WLB sucks. So many issues to fix.
Damn that’s not cool. Their AirPod org had some issues I heard but got fixed now. Try optics org they collaborate with VPG.
I doubt it. Expect a pay cut. WLB to be stretched at apple operatios side. It's clear you traded WLB for a High TC.
DFM Engineer. DFM team within operations group. Basically design the manufacturing process and manage manufacturing bring up at the factories from NPI to mass production.
Data center hardware has good WLB. Consumer device hardware does not.
just dont do consumer electronics
Google can pay well and have decent WLB
Msft. I am in the same area as yours at azure and it's pretty chill
Is msft paying close to 400k and if yes at which level?
400 may be possible with 65. Definitely 66
