JP Morgan Chase, Chime bank and Oracle. Oracle OCI in blind doesn't have good reviews. Chime has positive reviews. Chase isn't a tech company and has good work life balance
None
Microsoft. Better than this list.
Now I wanna try this 👏
Oracle culture in general is not great
OCI?
That’s the worst of all. OCI has a lot of ex-Amazon
All of these larger companies have cultures that are very team specific.
Right. But OCI pays as much as FAANG or even more.
You cant generalize. One of my friends worked at Visa and everyone on Blind says Visa is a retirement home but his team used to work crazy hours because his leadership chain would overpromise. Even at MSFT, there are pockets of the company which are known as "Amazon with low TC" But yeah in general, MSFT is good, banks are good and so is Visa (financial services).
Chime really varies depending on your department. There are benefits like extra company days off every month so that you never really have a full work month, but mostly some departments are truly amazing, and others quite the opposite. Ask probing questions during your interview to figure out which your potential dept is.
JPMC is generally good wlb but prepare for your skillset and overall career advancement to rot/stagnate. I’m trying to get out. If you’re ready to go on cruise control until you retire it’s perfect.
Chase tech career doesn't have good reviews on Blind. Chime tech career has good reviews
That sounds accurate
