What do you use to send money overseas?
Hey folks! I send money to family/relatives in Mexico regularly, so I’m wondering what the best overall service you use to transfer money in terms of cost, speed, convenience, ease-of-use, etc. There are so many different apps out there like Remitly, WorldRemit, Wise, and of course the giants like WesternUnion (WU) and MoneyGram. They all look similar to me, though I’ve only tried WU and it’s been decent so far. Would love to hear what folks think the pros/cons for some of these services and what you like to use and why. Just use crypto dude. They receive it almost immediately at fraction of the cost and almost no value loss from currency exchange fees.
Cash access and low fees.
Wise is fast. Decent rate most of the time.
+1 to this. Wise is better than remitly. Remitly gives a few extra cents but it's not worth waiting for a week, whereas in Wise the transfer is done in few seconds to minutes.
