I am about to leave Intel with a couple of better offers from other companies. My manager is aware of it, also we were told that our group will downsize anyway, and I will be affected at some point anyway. If I wait for closing our group, I would get the 2-month notice, plus HR help in finding other opportunities, plus my unclaimed sabbatical, and some sort of severance pay (which I don't even know how is calculated in Intel). I am an exempt employee which means I have unlimited PTO, but actually it is zero PTO as I can take a day off whenever, but on the other hand I have nothing to cash. Since I found a job, I intend to let them know that I will leave soon. I wonder what benefits I can still get or claim in these circumstances, and whether someone is familiar with it? Also, if someone knows the Intel severance pay calculation? YOE - 5 Grade - 7 TC - 125 #intel #offer #tech
Which Group?
Small group, might be identifying
No one left Intel before and can tell what you get if at all?
You'll get sabbatical paid. No PTO.
That's what I thought. Thanks
