Been working for a couple of e-commerce mobile shopping apps, the crash rate is usually 0.5% or less for iOS and 3% or less for Android. Nike is doing better with both lower than 0.1%, which is impressive especially for Android. Curious what’s the number for your mobile apps? @Amazon @Nordstrom @walmart
3% is stupid high
What’s the number looks like for eBay app? At some point I got crashes quite frequently but then they seem to be addressed.
Agreed 3% is high but that’s the struggle in many starts ups dealing with fragmentation in Asian countries AFAIK. If your products is US only it should be way lower fosho.
what is a mobile app?
What's your apps compile time?
3% is pretty high, though is it skewed towards older devices?
It can be skewed by som Chinese manufacturers fosho.
How long does your app take to compile?
3:50
A bit under 2 mins.
Crash rate you are referring here is for users or sessions? What’s the time window you are looking 1, 7 or 30 days?
Android Users: 99.5 sessions 99.9, weekly release cuts, 2 weeks to prod usually
Are you guys available internationally? testing other countries eats up a lot of our QA time

How are your compile times though?
It’s a number from either Fabric/Crashlyrics/New Relic/Google Analytics. All products are different but shopping app should be in the same category when looking at stability.
Yeah I know what crash rate is. How long does it take you to compile your app from a full clean?
