Curious how much do people spend per night on a hotel room while traveling for pleasure in the US? National parks v/s cities.
I would say more like 150 to 250 range. hotels are very costly these days.
stopped booking hotels for personal trips. Always airbnb.
200
That's another choice if you don't mind inconsistent experience in terms of quality and cleanliness and convenience.
We've tried AirBnb but only when hotel options are out of budget. Typically we arrive late at night just to crash so key exchange becomes tricky. Many don't offer single night stay. Plus some have ridiculous cleaning etc fees
$200-$400
100-250
About $600 a night. All we do is stay all 7 of us at the Grand Floridian for 7 days once a year.
same activities every time?
yup.
Try credit card churning to get points and book hotel room for free.
only poor people do that peanut butter
Poor people don't have the credit score or cash flow required for serious churning.
Mine was $100-$120 until last year which is possible in major cities. However National Parks tend to get expensive with at least $150 in motels. This year Yosemite/Grand Canyon can't find place under $250 even cheap motels..
