Hey, I had my onsite interviews at Google at the beginning of this week. Today I got a call from my recruiter with positive feedback, he said it will arrange team matching calls for me next week and he’ll send my feedback to the HC. Do I have big chances of being hired or it’s still 50-50? Thanks Current TC: 🥜 #tech #google #grad
Hiring committee is the single most important step. So don’t build so much hope before that. Btw you can still be rejected after HC approval
When they give you that Googley propeller hat.
There is actually some statistic on this and it varies across locations. I'm sure it's not confidential so I cannot disclose but I can say 50-50 is way too unrealistic.
Why can't you disclose it if it's not confidential
@Google - I know it’s not 50-50, but as I’ve said I wanted to know if I have a good chance of getting hired, or I should think of it as I may be hired I may be not, hence the 50-50 @wlbdude - I think he meant ‘It’s confidential’
You will be fine. It is not borderline like me ;).
How does one know if they’re borderline or not?
The recruiter tells you
