If I’m a chemistry PhD graduate working at Intel, where else would I fit as a process engineer? #hardware #semiconductor #intel
Wow dude can do PhD in a subject but cannot research where to look for jobs outside Intel?? 😂😂
You could likely come here or somewhere similar, assuming you're a US citizen (Working here has distinct pros and cons)
I'm considering making this move. Could you elaborate on the pros and cons?
Of course, dm'd you
Lot of silicon development is moving back to the states. There should be companies in Texas as well. Keep an eye out look around. See if Global Foundries or Indie semiconductors have anything of your interest.
Micron
All those little companies which supply equipment and materials for your process. Ask your vendors. Also those other pharmaceutical and chemical companies like Dow, Dupont and P&G.
Wolfspeed, qorvo, onsemi are others coming to mind.
Thanks
