Agile is the most bullshit thing I’ve ever heard, especially in big companies. Sure…plan your work in increments..but at the end of the day, strategic initiatives require teams to commit to scope & schedules.
there is a scope and schedules in agile? waterfall sucks because your scope and schedule may change 6 months later. you won't be able to realign quickly. scoping new stuff in and descoping is normal in agile.
The big companies are....big. There are teams within them that do these things. There are teams that do not.
The agile manifesto says nothing about scrum, story points, etc. That's mumbo jumbo sold by "agile" consultants.
None, apparently. Check this out: https://blog.pragmaticengineer.com/project-management-at-big-tech/amp/
What agile - apple is insanely disorganised for agile
Don’t tell us you actually miss this nonsense.
I don’t, just curious if any FAANG’s do use it. G doesn’t from my experience
Some pockets of Amazon I think. Most good companies avoid this nonsense.
