We all know how companies can throw us out like trash in a fraction of a second when things go south. So then why do people like/share posts about new services/products made by their employer? This is especially weird when the person sharing/liking is not even related to that product in their day to day job. Say I work on outlook at Microsoft and like/share a post about Azure. What’s the real point here? And for those who worked on that new product why shout about it on LinkedIn? You can always put your accomplishments on your LinkedIn profile or your resume. This self propaganda is truly nauseating and makes introverts feel even worse about themselves. Is this what the world has come to? Yell how proud you’re about your employer on LinkedIn? Is there some kind of metric you’re optimizing for your performance reviews?
They do that to prove how loyal they are to their masters and "to the future masters as well"
Hello, I am delighted and honored to announce that I am posting a comment on this prestigious app. I have worked 24/7 for 5 years to get to this achievement. I also want to announce that I am now an expert on Generative AI. I spent hundreds of seconds googling wtf it is and I found an answer which I have memorized. So so proud of myself. I would like to thank Jhoota Nadella, Badsurat Pichai, and Tim Crook for their esteemed guidance and personal attention they gave to me. (I watched several minutes of their videos on repeat). Please like this comment my incredible fellow Blind members.
👏 bravo. Please also like my non-value adding reply to the original comment. As a low value beta, I need these replies to gain visibility and rep points on social media. Please help 🙏 and like me!
Congratulations! You are awe-inspiring! OMG! It is AI <tags manager> #WellDeserved
Because they have yet to see their sword of pride descend on them. Everyone will, some sooner than others.
Well an example with Azure is not relevant. And I think for the internet points or maybe they know something about LinkedIn algorithms
