Why do some Slack users hate Teams?

I have never used Slack, but in my experience with Teams, it has been pretty decent with all its M365 integration. The only problem is that the UI of Teams feels sad. #Slack #Teams #msft

"I have never used Slack" Well, here is your answer. If someone compare Teams to Skype or Facebook workplace, then yes, it's a great product. If you compare it to Slack or Discord, then it's just awful. The only advantage of Teams is bundling in MS365, I am pretty sure this product couldn't stand on it's own leg. Teams is an app bloated with a hundred million feature nobody asked for, while slack and discord are focusing on the foundations. Eg.: - In teams the chat is like hell, chat bubbles are annoying, taking up a lot of space, messages are spread between left and right side, so your eyes must yoyo if you are not reading from phone, but from desktop. Imagine if a book would be written like that... - The whole application is very laggy and requires a nuclear machine to run. - If you copy paste code it will randomly format it to ensure nobody is able to read or copy paste it. - Syntax highlight for code? Lol nope. Only if you do a complicated 10 step way to embed code, but thats painful from both the reader and writer side. - Scrollbar is basically not working. - Search is awful - Status of someone is buggy as hell. - I could continue this list as long as I want. All of these things are the same basically since the app exists, there is almost zero improvement. But we have probably like a 1000 new useless feature which nobody asked for, but I guess it got some people a principal promotion. I work on Teams btw.
