Which Indian wedding style is the most beautiful, interesting, and elegant?
It seems like JaneStreet interviewed a lot of ppl from Bloomberg from what I have seen. I even saw a lot of cases where people from Bloomberg got interviews but people from Google got rejected on resume screen. This is speaking of internship and new grads hiring. Would love to get some response from Jane Street and Bloomberg ppl.
Get over yourself.
Lol
more relevant experience, interest in finance
And probably based on seeing how Xooglers act entitled af
I don’t think this is true
Your sample size is probably too small to know this is a trend but if you’re talking about internship experience at google vs Bloomberg it might be because Bloomberg’s internship program is much smaller so it could be more selective.
Why does bloomberg pay shit then?
Does it? For new grads, we pay 160-170k TC with another 30-50k sign-on which I believe is very competitive! For people with 5 YOE, median pay is around 250k. I do agree that we have a soft cap of 350k for ICs thus we can't compete with high E5 or E6 offers but from what I know most engineers at FB are E4 right? Am I missing anything!!
I see, so bloomberg is competitive for junior hires.
i’M a GoOgLeR, wHy DiD tHeY nOt LaY a ReD cArPeT fOr Me!???
Because they work in finance and are more likely to have more relevant experience?
Because getting a job at Google is about grinding Leetcode it’s not about being smarter. Not that Bloomberg has a higher bar Bloomberg employees at least are more likely to have relevant domain experience.
Have you seen Google’s process? It’s like 20000 stages it’s definitely more than just leetcode. Plus Jane street is also straight up just leetcode, at least from my interviews there
You definitely had never interviewed at Bloomberg. All their questions are straight from leetcode if not easier than Google.
