I was looking into why this guy has gained so much popularity and influence. 1. Wrote a paper sucking up to Tesla autopilot, non-peer-reviewed 2. Caught Elon Musk’s eye, who flew him off to Tesla HQ (This is the jackpot moment) 3. Despite the paper’s strongly negative reception among researchers and at MIT, nobody cared.😅 4. Leveraged the Musk interview to nab meetings with big shots like Bezos, Zuck, etc upping his credibility game. Another example that most of the times, the path to success is less about hard work or rules and more about who’s better at cheating 😂
I enjoy his YouTube video. Sometimes that’s all it takes. Also seems like a super likable person. Not sure about his research background but a fan of his videos
They’re good. But they’re not extraordinary or something.
But that’s the thing not enough people do what he does and he’s been doing it for a long time. He’s also not that big or popular compared to others.
He gives very boring interviews imo
Another grifter
He’s a glowie
He's been around far longer than the musk fiasco, unfortunately losers like you spread false information and paint it in a different light. If you've listened to any of his stuff you'd know he's a genuine dude just doing shit that he likes.

Tech bro rogan
he took advantage of his opportunities
Using his MIT cred, he was the first one to do long form interviews with computer science elites that we usually don’t hear a lot from (Lattner, Suskever etc). That built him a reputation.
He's a plant ☘️
